Want to share out we have some amazing Miner Track alums out there kicking butt in the collegiate world. Harys Beauchamp and the BSC Mystics Womens basketball team have had a fantastic season and now found themselves in the Mon-Dak Conference Championship game!
Jack Koppelsoen, who competes on the BSC Track and Field team is in Texas this weekend for the NJCAA T&F Championships. He will be competing in the Distance Medley relay and the 4x800 Relay. He also qualified the 600 M, but is focusing on the relays. Last year Jack and his team where All-Americans, placing 8th in the 4x800 at Nationals.
Aisha Zaffino runs for BSC Mystics Track and Field as well. She had a great indoor season with some amazing personal records to her events this year. It is awesome seeing her continue to grow and move forward in her Track career.
Jenna Koppelsloen is running for the Fighting Hawks (UND). She has had an up and down indoor season dealing with some nagging injuries, but has been able to compete at some track meets focusing on a few of her events. Jenna competes as a pentathlete for the Fighting Hawks. We are looking forward to seeing a healthy Jenna competing this spring!
Tia Horning who is in her last year running for the University of Mary. She has had fantastic Senior campaign running for the Marauders. Achieving personal records in the 60 M dash and the 60 M hurdles. She competed at the NSIC Championships and placed 7th! Her and the Lady Marauders placed 2nd at the championships! She will be competing next week in the 60 M hurdles at the NCAA Championships.
